Crow Canyon Home Acquires Golden Rabbit

to Expand Leadership in Enamelware Category

The merging of two female-owned and operated legacy homeware brands will pave the way for expansion into new geographic markets and increase availability of product assortments both domestically and internationally.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA [AUGUST 17, 2023]Crow Canyon Home, the heritage enamelware brand known as the originator of the iconic splatter design, announced today it entered a binding acquisition agreement with Golden Rabbit, the Maryland-based oven-to-table enamelware brand. Both brands are widely adored in the homewares industry and enamelware category specifically, and have shared commitments to quality, community, and sustainability. The merger will allow for both Crow Canyon and Golden Rabbit to expand / benefit from each brand’s varied styles, designs, and customer demographics. It will also enable each business to expand market availability domestically and internationally. The deal is supported through private financing and is expected to be closed by August 1 2023, pending standard closing procedures.
Crow Canyon Home offers the largest variety of enamelware products in the world, and its acquisition of Golden Rabbit will further cement its leadership in the enamelware category. Crow Canyon, which recently announced partnerships with design houses Poketo, Camp Wandawega and Lisa Congdon, as well as a new category of linens, will continue expanding its business into new homewares categories. Through its expansion, the company has created fresh demand for its iconic product, while highlighting its broad appeal to luxury and value-driven consumers alike.

Golden Rabbit products will continue to be available through its website goldenrabbit.com. Retailers and distributors will see no immediate changes while the companies work to blend infrastructure. In the long term, a major goal of the merger is to make it easier for retail partners to access both company catalogs through streamlined ordering, shipping, pricing and marketing.
